Can't connect guitar controllers

Got RB2(disc only) midnight, got home to play. Hooked up drum controller, mic, wireless GH3 gibson and GH2 explorer(all into the original Rb usb hub). GH2 explorer won't synch up, no lights or anything. Hooked up the RB1 strat, just flashes the xbox ring, will not synch up. Also tried plugging the strat and the xplorer in directly to both front usb connectors bypassing the hub.
All these instruments worked this afternoon, now these 2 won't. Only thing that changed is I put in the RB2 disc. Anyone else having this problem? I can only have 3 players now and it kinda sucks.

Hey, turns out the little dongles to usb at the ends of the controllers are specific (either that or I have a bad dongle) anyway Im running now (with the xplorer...the RB strat looks like it might be bad now... not like that hasn't happened before...just odd timing)

thats interesting. its probably a bad dongle since I use my xplorer with my usb hub and it works fine
