I thought there was already a sticky for this but I don't see it. Anyway, What band along with 3 songs do you think would be cool for Rock Band DLC? I was listening to Sirius the other day and heard Everything Zen by Bush, which I haven't heard in a while, and was thinking it would work well with Rock Band. That got me thinking about other songs that I'd like to see as DLC.

Bush:
Everything Zen
Machinehead
Little Things

Sublime:
Santeria
What I got
Badfish

Pantera:
A New Level
Walk
This Love

Alice in Chains:
Man in the Box
Would?
Angry Chair

Godsmack:
Keep Away
Bad Religion
Re-Align

I could go on forever. Hopefully at least some of those will be DLC one day.

*EDIT* Moved to Ultimate Setlist. I knew I had seen a place for this somewhere lol.

wrong place for this, but I'm not really a fan of any of those bands so whatever, I wouldn't mind "what i got" and "walk" though

Heres one that I would badly like to have:

The Smiths:
This Charming Man
Panic
Shoplifters of the World
(and there was one I forgot the title - Starts off with I think "All men have secrets to hide..."
that song would be good for drumming, and of course the singing would be challening as its all crooning):D

Yeah, good choices on the 2 90s Grunge Packs. And we do need some Temple of the Dog. It would be nice if even 25% of this stuff made it into the game.

Here's a handful of ideas that came to me earlier today. Sorry for any obscurities, I listen to a lot of crap. Any multi-artist pack songs are listed in artist - track format.

Jawbreaker Pack 01 (Unfun):

Jawbreaker Pack 03 (24 Hour Revenge Therapy):

Jinx Removing

Jawbreaker Pack 04 (Dear You):
Fireman
Bad Scene, Everyone's Fault
Shirt

Jawbreaker Pack 05 (Etc):
Kiss The Bottle

Boxcar

Sorry, I really, really like Jawbreaker. I'd settle for any three songs from them, honestly. Moving on...

Kenny Loggins At The Movies Pack:

Elastica Pack:

80s Peculiarities Pack:

Lucretia, My Reflection
This Corrosion

80s SciFi/Comedy Pack:

This is a simple one:

Genesis:
Jesus He Knows Me (NOT a religious song. before everyone jumps all over me!)

I'd swap out the first song for In The Air Tonight. That would be such a fun song to play on the drums with its drum solo in the middle. It's short, but oh so nice.

Heres one that I would badly like to have:

Shoplifters of the World
(and there was one I forgot the title - Starts off with I think "All men have secrets to hide..."
that song would be good for drumming, and of course the singing would be challening as its all crooning):D

I think Bigmouth Strikes Again would be awesome as well, or even some Morrissey solo stuff.

My (many) thoughts:

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah:
The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth
Yankee Go Home
Heavy Metal

Talking Heads:
Paper
Psycho Killer
No Compassion

Modest Mouse:

This is a simple one:
Genesis:
Jesus He Knows Me (NOT a religious song. before everyone jumps all over me!)
Land Of Confusion
No Son Of Mine

I'd definitely support this set. More love for Genesis!

Here are some of my suggestions:

The Offspring: (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE)
The Kids Aren't Alright
Self Esteem
Original Prankster (Contains S***, but could be left as a blank like that Coldplay song)

Alien Ant Farm:
Movies
Smooth Criminal ( I really hope you wouldn't need MJ's permission for this)
Wish (Has been used in a game before, and the only other song that could fit in with the two hit singles)

Foo Fighters:
Everlong
The Pretender
Big Me

Bill Bailey: (Hey, a guy can dream)
Insect Nation
Hats Off To The Zebras
The Leg Of Time
(Never done a full version of any of these, but I think he'd be up for rerecording them.)

Ramones Pack:
I Wanna Be Sedated
Rock 'n' Roll High School
Bonzo Goes To Bitburg (Bells on the intro as Mic taps >.<)

The Beatles:
She Loves You
Revolution
Get Back
(They deserve more recognition than this though)

Franz Ferdinand:
The Dark Of The Matinée (Nice bits for unison bonuses here)
Take Me Out (Reuse the GH Notechart >.<, also, killer for the drummer, with the Tempo change and such)
The Fallen

Queen:
Killer Queen (GH Notechart PLEASE)
Seven Seas Of Rhye
Ogre Battle/Fat Bottomed Girls

Green Day:
Welcome To Paradise
When I Come Around
Holiday
(Hard to find songs that are fun for everyone that don't contain bad swearing for these guys)

im just gonna leave it at this. anyone else agree with any of these?

AC/DC pack is pretty good. I think a RHCP pack should contain Higher Ground, personally, but that selection's not bad. Can't speak for the other bands, and the last pack should be renamed since that's more Hair Metal than Classic Rock.

And one more pack from me, of another good Swedish indie band I found.

As sad as it is, I'd be willing to put my money on not seeing YYZ as DLC due to the lack of vocals, as frustrated as I am to not be able to channel my inner Neal Pert on that one. =/

And when one of the above posters says "tribute bands," do you mean covers? Because I'm sure you could get the original track for Holy Diver, as GH3 has My Curse with the original track on it.
