2 XBOX 360s and Rock band 1 Song Export-Rock band 2!

Hey everyone I've looked around for a bit but haven't found any answer:

I have two XBOX 360s in my house. Box A has internet connection but box B does not (there is no physical way for me to connect it at the moment and I'm not willing to spend $100 on a wireless adapter). When I take the harddrive from Box A and put it in Box B I can't see the Rock band 1 songs in Rockband 2. They show up on Box A. Now I know my DLC won't show up on Box B because that is how Microsoft's DRM works but is exporting the songs the same case?

I tried taking Box B downstairs and connecting it to live and re-exported the songs but it still does not show up once I unplug the Ethernet wire. I can't buy another license because it is connected to my live account (I can export as many times as I want to no avail).

Any suggestions or workaround? I know Microsoft has a DRM tool but will that transfer over this export feature? :mad:

I think you should of done this order, bit too late now.
Box B, connect to net, pay and download the licence then export songs.
Box A, copy over the export to a memory unit and use the export feature on there.

So the difference is if you paid and exported to B first, you would have xbox licence on the B to play them without any gamer tag. On A you have to sign in to see the exported songs since A is connected to the net it should not be a probblem unless you have multiple users.. I guess you can swap A and B around and use the gamertag on the B which will have net.

Though I dunno if this would work. I'm guessing here. I only have 1 Xbox.

yea its the licensing tool you will need to use. its pretty likely to transfer since its your license

Thanks for the responses. Yeah I think I got a little too excited and downloaded the license. I should have though this through.

Anyone know how I can buy another license on the same gamertag?

you dont need to buy a new license:

first do the transfer online : http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/systemuse/xbox360/licensemigration/?WT.svl=nav

then connect your second console (the one you want to play on) online and copy the songs onto the new console. you can still use it on console A as long as your connected to xbox live

Thanks I just might have to do that. But If I were to buy a new license on another account on the box that is not connected to the internet (Box B) can I see the songs if i log in using another account and even if it is disconnected from live? (notice it is the same box)

So what I'm trying to say is can accounts on the same hd share the dlc (both accounts have been created on the same hd)

yes as long as the licenses are on that console
