1. When do GameStop and EB Games begin making the phone calls confirming the availability of your pre-order?

2. When people do begin receiving these calls, this might be a good thread to post the confirmation.

Usually day before, what's it matter though they already have all their shipments? No meed to post confirmation calls when they already have the bundles just can't sell it until Tuesday.

In my experience they usually call to confirm preorders on the actual release day but I've received the odd call one day in advance.

That's cool. I'm mainly curious because this is my first video game pre-order, and when I spoke to a GameStop employee a few weeks ago, he made it sound like I shouldn't show up on Tuesday morning unless I've received a phone call confirmation.

Sometimes if they're busy at the store (which is often the case on the launch day of a big title) they neglect to call. Usually if I haven't heard from the store by late morning on Tuesday, I give them a shout or just pop in.

I'm pretty sure they all have the bundles in stock. The guy at my local GS told me I could be there first thing in the morning if I wanted to ( which I can't :( Stupid work )

depends on how good your gamestop is, mine is run by a bunch of ******s who can't hold a phone conversation much less start one so I never get a call

yep, i've seen mine =). freakin teaser at GameStop, haha, also teased me with Mass Effect and the label on top that says do not sell beore 11/20

Those bastards lied to me....I need to talk to the big guy or the manager they will tell me. I'm ther emost of the time. So i should just go in today since im going to go to best buy anyhow.

They should already be at GameStop but you're not going to be able to get it until Tuesday unless you can really pull some strings. I work at a GameStop and I can't even get mine until then.

mine does also, they had them sitting right out there in the store, bastards, just sitting there teasing everyone, they had about 20 all stacked up, and the guy said that they're have a lot more in back, damn I want it now,lol

to stick to the topic, they usually call the day before, but when I preordered GH3 I never received a call, I don't really care since it's been confirmed to me that I'm getting mine and I'll be there right when they open anyway.
