Yeah I saw this too. It kinda got me worried that there was only gonna be about 16 in the store, so I'm a lil nervous now. My friend is buying it, but we're not going to a midnight release to get it, we're going after school to pick it up. He has a pre order, so I hope they have enough...:(

Based on the ad and another post reference 80+ in the back, I'm betting they're going to hold most of them for black friday. I'm a last minute convert to the 360, so Tuesday is going to be stressful.

That is strange because i was in the local Bestbuy last night here in Huntsville, AL and they had 6 pallets of Rockband bundles ready for sale on the release date.:eek:

Relax guys...its just a minimum of what they should have in each store. If it said "maximum", then I might be worried. It will be okay. I am thinking they are going over the top on 360's because there are more of those out there then PS3's. it makes sense there. We keep going back and forth with this topic....there WILL be a shortage!! It is "HOW LONG" the shortage goes on for.


Edit: Everyone who has posted or lurked these forums know what's going on with shortages, release day, places to buy, etc. I think everyone will have no worries getting one. For the kid(s) who are not really on top of the games, they might not get after the 20th.

I respect the fact that some Best Buy, Wal-mart, GameStop and EB Games employees bring us new information as they find out. However, they do not work in corporate and therefore, it is speculation unless credentials can be provided. :D

You've got it backward, friend. They can't advertise it in the Black Friday ad unless they have held product for that date.

They can hold it until Easter if they want to, just wouldn't be very smart.

my small town walmart said they have two very large boxes full of ps3 bundles no word on 360 though and i only got one guy to amit they have them the others said they didn't until i said i knew then they said they weren't allowed to say

You are correct about that. However, I have always been told (and read) is that holding product that is not specifically instructed to be held for black friday is a big no no. They have always threatened the managers, and of course that trickles down to us peons...

But then again, I haven't been to a store meeting in months, so they might be doing that now...who knows...retailers suck regardless. :)

yeah i wouldnt be worried, it says "minimum" and since some stores are having midnight launches, im very positive that those stores will have more units.
