Solo Button Question

ok so i have been worried about this for the longest time.
when a solo comes up is it like HOPO's in GH were if i miss a note i have to take my hands off the solo buttons and hit the strum bar again so i can get the HOPOS going again and go back to the solo buttons to play the solo?

Nope its not anything like HOPO's its just finger tapping. You have to tap the button for each note there is, no strumming required. When there is a line of the same notes right next to each other, I can't tap one finger that fast lol, So I would just keep my finger on that solo button and then use the strummer. When you get used to it you can nail some pretty hard solo's.

That's not what I heard. Unlike GH, if you miss one note on a long HOPO, you simply have to get back on pattern again...no strumming. But that's speculation. I mean if you think about it, on a real guitar string, depending on how you miss it, the string would still be vibrating.

All it is is finger tapping. You dont need to be on pattern or anything. If you tap the buttons and you miss one, no need to get on another pattern or w/e. Every button is just one tap lol.

He's right. When you get to a Solo section (where the fretboard turns blue and the percentage counter appears), you can go down to the solo buttons and finger tap the entire solo, no strumming required. You can strum if it's easier for you, like when there's a lot of the same notes in a row during a solo, but otherwise everything's a HOPO.

Not sure about chords during solos, though. I'll have to get back to you on that.

Nope chords and long notes are just finger tapping, Ive played every song at BB and ive tried the solo buttons for many of the solos, havent gotten it down quite yet :D , and for chords just tap the two buttons and hold and enjoy lmao
