Difficulty Concerns me...

I hear that this game is going to be way easier than guitar hero... I beat GH I and II on expert and I think songs in hard are really boring. I dont like the super insane songs that you need to use star power just to get by and your up there just pushin random buttons to see if it works. I hope this game isnt too easy, I beat all of the demo songs on expert right off the bat, the solo buttons are awesome and they add an extra challenge :p Is anyone else concerned like me?

It wasnt a big concern for me.

Me, my twin bro, my lil brother all played at best buy for a really long time and we even made several trips there to play rock band. It was the funniest game ive played in a long time. My lil bro plays the drums in real life and he was already at expert for the drums. Me and my twin switched off at guitar and bass, we already gotta 3 person band. One of the times we went there my best friend, who is usually at my house a lot, actually sang for us. So we have a pretty good band in the making haha.

It's been concerning a good handful of us for a while now.

there will be a few songs that challenge you in the game, and way more in dlc most likely.

and it's about the fun, dude.

if you want challenge, try vocals and drums.

See, Guitar Hero was all about beating the song at all costs, so even though you finished the song in the red zone, you still finished it, which was the reward. With Rock Band, the focus isn't so much on how har a song is, but how much fun you can have with it. That's why the first two Guitar Hero games weren't insanly impossible like their counterpart GH3. The focus in Guitar Hero has switched from "having fun" to "making the songs as hard as possible to the point were it isn't fun to play the game anymore". From what I understand, Rock Band is challenging, but no so much that you're gonna throw down the controllers in frustration at how unrealistically hard the game is.
