DAMN! i think activision/neversoft should just pack it in i mean they tshould just shut down there studios because nothing and i mean nothing NOT EVEN HALO 4 can stop Rock Band! i am sooo psychied for this game i cannot wait (even tho i have to wait until xmas damn canada!!) but man rock band is seriously going to be the best effing game on the market!

Yea probably.

Unless the GH 4 setlist is a 10/10 I won't even consider buying it unless they get rid of those awful boss battles and even then it'd have to be a 8/10 list and Tony Hawk,that's done too thanks to skate.

In a way though, Neversoft is doing what it needs to stay competitive with Rock Band. The boss battles feed directly into a demographic that would otherwise probably have no interest in music games, the mutli-player, FPS crowd who don't consider a game "legit" unless there is someone to defeat and hoot over at the end of the round. With just a guitar, there's simply no way that Neversoft can compete with Harmonix on the co-op experience, it's flat out impossible. But give it a competitive aspect and suddenly those guys that need to "beat someone" in order to enjoy a game will consider Guitar Hero. All they have to do is include an option for tea-bagging the loser and you'll get the obnoxious multi-player/competitive types coming to Guitar Hero IV in droves.

Yes but they can leave that in multiplayer. No need of sticking it in career mode when the AI never misses so it ends up 97% luck based on what power ups you get and what they get so that you won't end up missing yours and hope yours are good enough to make them fail.
