Whats up? I currently dont have a next gen console, i am still rockin the ps2. I was wondering if anyone had any details as to what the differences will be b/t the ps2 version and the next-gen version. I am considering buying a new console, just for this game, but i dont know which to get. I would rather have the ps3 but i played GH3 at a friends house on PS3 and there was a horrible delay that made the game almost unplayable...anyone have info regarding this also?
Thanks

All that's really known about the PS2 version is that there will be no online play or downloadable content.

PS2 version has about no details, just predictably no DLC and no online play.
If you are planning on getting a PS3 just for Rock Band, wait until after Tuesday to find out if the rumors are true if the Les Paul doesn't work with it from GH3 and if the dongle is as bad as GH3.

have you guys heard other people complaining that the guitar hero 3 has a severe delay bt the visuals and the audio on ps3? My friend has it run through HDMI and uses external audio instead of his TV speakers, but idk if that is the problem. GH3 for PS2 works flawlessly. Any info on that?

I had to return my copy twice [due to dongle/sync problems... not lag at all], and now I don't have GH3 to avoid issues.. so yeah there was many flaws... but the lag callibration tool on the game fixes lots of things... go to gamefaqs' GH3 foru, there'smany threads on callibration sollutions:D

the sound delay is common and easily fixed in the options menu. they have a tool specifically for it
