Metallica Pack question

Does anyone know when the Metallica pack will be released for DLC? I heard it was in the first week, but I was wondering if right off launch if it was available.... Anyone know?

I don't think anyone knows for sure, all we know is the it is the Week of the 20th. I don't know if it would be released the very first day, but probably a day or two after, although I could easily be wrong.

Harmonix also detailed its release schedule for the first five weeks after Rock Band launches. The opening week will be highlighted by track packs from Metallica, The Police, and Queens of the Stone Age, with individual songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival, Foreigner, T-Rex, and more.

I wouldn't mind it being a day or two later since I won't be able to download it the first day. I have to go to my friends to get LIVE, so I hope it's available before Saturday or Sunday...

There's no set schedule for downloadable content, but they avoid doing updates on holidays or weekends. So I would expect to see it Wednesday morning at the latest.

With a holiday in the middle of the week for the North American launch, they probably did not give specifics for a reason. (With vacation and holidays and whatnot, probably an element of certainty when content can be posted)

Plus, once they commit to a date, fan expectations are set. As an example, the Halo 3 beta opened like 8 hours late and you had lynch mobs and people ready to jump off building tops.... Rock Band doesn't need that. :D

I hope it's available before Saturday on sunday.... that way, I can rock out all weekend with my friend just playing Metallica...

I can't wait to 5 star that song on Expert Drums :D ... I'll probably have to fail a few times though :D

Any word on whether the Metallica songs will have lead & rhythm, or are all Rock Band tunes split between guitar and bass (even if they have two guitarists)? Because as much as I like the two ANJA songs, I have no desire to play Newsted's basslines.

Nobody has seen it yet, but you have to assume that they will support lead + rhythm for the And Justice For All songs.
