So my girlfriend and I went online to play with an old buddy of ours from where we used to live, her on vocals and myself on guitar. She was logged in with a guest profile.
My friend joined over LIVE, as the other guitar player.
However, voice chat was completely dead. We could not hear each other using headsets, the microphone, nothing. The controls for the Mic state that you have to hold LT or RT to transmit voice chat when you play as the vocalist, however that did nothing. When you hold the trigger down during a song, you can see the little icon pop up on the vocal track showing that you're transmitting voice, however still nothing is sent or received.
After connecting with the same friend without the guest profile/vocals logged in, voice chat worked without a hitch.
Anyone else who has acquired the game early willing to attempt to replicate this scenario to see if it is a game glitch? (Your profile + guest as guitar/vocals, connecting to another guitar player over live.)
