Amazon.com has started shipping.

Friend of mine w/ "3-day" shipping received notice that his has shipped yesterday w/ an expected arrival date of the 21st.

Mine hasn't shipped :mad: but it's on overnight so it probably will get delayed til the 20th.

/me mutters about people paying for slower shipping getting things at the same time. :)

Good to know. I think I won't get mine until early December. I payed for the one day shipping, but it was after the mid-December notice.

I just got my ship notification a couple hours ago. Got 1-day shipping for $3.99 (Amazon Prime). It's showing an arrival date of Tuesday...but hopefully it'll be here tomorrow.

Overnight shipping is any day of the week. So good chance of getting it early.

well if you go to look at your order it says shipping estimate is the 20th and the arrival estimate should be the 21st however it sounds like some peoples have already shipped and will arrive earlier than predicted if that's the case I will be complaining to amazon if I paid extra to receive my game at the same time as others who paid less, that would piss me off alot

I payed $211 to get it shipped to my door on the 20th from GameStop. I guess you can judge from if you payed more or less.

Originally it was to be shipped on the 20th. That was the status from when I placed the order until a few days ago, when it changed to say it would ship the 23rd. Then, out of nowhere, I get an e-mail saying it shipped on Saturday.

On another note, I noticed Amazon is saying I'll get it Wed, but FedEx is saying I'll get it Tues... here's hoping they're both wrong and I get it tomorrow :-) (though I'm guessing NV -> MA will take longer than 1 bus day)

Same here. Pre-ordered from Amazon on Oct. 29th with Amazon Prime + overnight shipping, shipped a few hours ago via UPS. Amazon says delivery estimate Wednesday, but I should get it Tuesday at the latest. UPS tracking only says "Billing Information Received".

I haven't received an email. My status has changed to shipping soon. I have 1 day shipping also, so I should be getting the game on tuesday. BTW, I pre-ordered July 23rd.

I am not at all amused with Amazon. My overnight/express shipping is posting that it will be delivered the same day as a friend across town who used 3-day/saver shipping.

Amazon will not be getting any of my future business if it doesn't shake this out right.

These things depend on where it is shipping from. If it is shipping out of a center close to your area, they will ship them the same day and you will end up getting them the same day. The overnight option is only useful if they are shipping from a remote location to your site. In most major areas, I don't think overnight shipping on pre-orders is worth the extra money. (P.S. I used to work for UPS.)
