Hi,
I have a simple question: Will the abundant supply of DLC songs be randomly added to the Band World Tour set lists? I mean other than when you select to make your own set list of course. I sure hope so. Thanks,
Ken

Yes. All DLC goes into the WBT setlists. I'd imagine some songs even go into certain designated setlists, so if you DL all the Metallica songs or all of the Police songs you'd get to play the "all Metallica" setlist.

Good question, and yea I'm assuming it'd be random placement into the BWT. So cool to think about :P

I think songs have certain attributes associated with them like "Boston rock" "Metal" etc etc, so when the setlist comes up (if not the preset ones, the mystery ones fer shur) would act like "smart playlists" and grab songs that have "Boston" as an attribute when playing a small club in Boston.

I was so hoping they would do that.
So, Like if I were to buy more Nirvana, it would randomly appear in a Seattle Setlist.

I doubt it, for comparative purposes--it would increase the available stars for a given gig. Also, it could get dangerous--you might buy the entire Nevermind album, and suddenly the All Seattle setlist explodes to a 20 song marathon.

Which is why I think the setlists are gonna stay the same length, but random songs will be swapped out in favor of DLC.

Not true, they would just give fixed numbers to the setlists like say 5. The computer grabs a list of suitable songs and throws a random 5 into the list. True there may be like 3ish Nirvana songs because there's a higher chance of it getting selected but they can always restrict it to one song per Artist.

I am fairly sure it was confirmed that DLC would be added into the random setlist and create a setlist but nothing beyond that.

This sounds right. I can't recall the interview, but I remember them saying that it will be available in make your own set list and I think random as well (but I am not as sure on this point).
