I was trying to think of some interesting ideas for DLC packs. Some of the recent packs with multiple artists have had themes, like Roadrunner, Nerdcore, and Cruefest. So what are some of your ideas? They can be based on tours, common artist or song titles, or themes. Something besides three songs from the same artists. Packs of 3 to 6 would be good. Here are two of mine.

A River Runs Through It Pack
Still Remains - The River Song
Live - Pain Lies On the Riverside
Simple Minds - She's a River

The Axis of Evil Pack
Germany
Rammstein - Du hast
Warlock - Burning the Witches
Japan
Dir en grey - Clever Sleazoid
High and Mighty Color - Ichirin no hana
Italy
Lacuna Coil - Swamped
Sun Eats Hours - Now Again

Space...The Final Frontier Pack
Hum - Stars
Dredg - Ode to the Sun
Ozzy - Bark at the Moon

Hippie Pack 01
Phish
The Grateful Dead
Bob Dylan

Any songs by any would be the bomb : D

Well obviously HMX wouldn't use that one. Or they could put some frilly title on it and still release it. Or just make separate country packs. Was just a silly idea, but I wouldn't mind those songs being released in some capacity.

Yeah... for japan I suggest you to go away from the anime songs(though it's only my thoughts because I listen to japanese music alot) there are better groups like

Husking Be
Sambomaster
Asian Kung-Fu Generation
Snowkel
L'Arc-en-Ciel
FLOW

though some of this artists have songs on anime they are probably better in terms of Rock Band songs than those 2 groups you've mentioned(I really like them though)

EDIT: I actually had a thread like this if you want to look at it:)
