View Full Version : Calibration Different for Drum Trainer?

On Rock Band 2, the first thing I did was calibrate the system. When I play normal songs, it's perfectly fine. But when I go to the drum trainer, the metronome sound is completely off from the chart. I can't seem to fix this, no matter what calibration I use. Is this just a weird bug in the game or is it just my tv? My tv is a Vizio LCD, not really sure of which model.

Anyone else have this problem?

I have this same exact problem. My drumming seemed way off. It seems like the drum trainer has itself set to 0/0 instead of using my calibration settings.

Really? I often adjust calibration based on what is happening in the drum trainer. No wonder it never seems to work.

This happened to me last night too. After calibrating the drums I went into drum trainer to see what it was like and get the achievements and yeah, it seemed way off. I had to play way in front of the metronome in order to hit everything.

I think Kronok is right in that the metronome is based off 0/0 calibration settings, so if you try to play along to the metronome and your calibration is much different from 0/0 you'll miss notes all over the place.

Good thing they have the option to shut off the metronome. I haven't tried it myself but I think disabling it will make things better.
