Come on Harmonix, have you given him up? Have you let down your fans? You've ran around and deserted us! You've made us cry, but we won't say good bye, because we know you wouldn't tell us a lie or hurt us. But now that new wave is a genre in RB2 and we have new wave instruments and clothing items (some of which we've always had and now we have more) I think it's time that the entire community gets rickrolled. Don't wait until April, we want Rick Astley NOW! I mean, that's what that wicked electronic drumset is for right?

Don't make me start singing Together Forever to prove my point that what RB needs right now is the man, the myth, the legend... Rick Astley.

Devo and Berlin? lol

Actually, yeah, more Devo. But I'm satisfied with three of the best Devo songs in the world and not a single one of them being Whip It and one of them being the best damn example of how awesome Alan Myers and Bob 1 are (stock in RB2, no less!). Right now I never wanna give you up, never want to let you down, never want to run around and desert you.

Come on Harmonix, search your hearts. You know you want to.

I believe the Rick Roll is (thankfully) not going to be part of Rock Band.

Rick Astley is pop/soft rock more than New Wave.

definitely.
not every poppy 80's group who used synthesizers can be considered new wave....

as for the song, i'm afraid i'll have to pass.

Rick Astley is obviously new wave whereas Europe is not.

Harmonix can always pull a Buffett/Devo and have Astley rerecord a song or two to better fit the game. "Never Gonna Give You Up" is rather synth heavy.

Just wait till April Fools. Look for a DLC labeled Stairway to Heaven.

I will weep with joy.

I love Astley. And yes, I am an Astley fan because of Rick Rolling. But you have got to admit that the guys who started the whole Rick Rolling thing picked down right the best song by him.
