Will walmart have the bundles or the game in stock on tuesday?

Well i know wlart doesnt take pre orders but that doesnt mean they dont have them sitting in the back of there stores wiating for tuesday. I was just wondering if any of you will go to walmart and look to see if they have bundles on tuesday. Do you know if they have them yet?

Wal-Mart in my area (im in Ohio) has them sitting in the back.. go on sale 12:01 Tomorrow night.. or 0001 for those on a 24-Hour clock haha.. tried to get them to sell already but no luck hahaha... just call they will tell you..

I'm in southwestern Indiana...called my Wal-Mart late Friday night, hoping to talk to an employee not-in-the-loop and scoring one early. Unfortunately, I talked to an employee who sounded like a teenager, probably a gamer as well.

ME (playing dumb): Do you guys have a game called "Rock Band" for Xbox 360.
WM: No, it doesn't come out until Tuesday.
ME (playing dumb, again): Oh, I thought it came out this week.
WM: Nope, not til Tuesday. You said 360, right?
ME: Yep.
WM: Well, we've got a lot of those in the back, so you shouldn't have any problems grabbing one Tuesday. We didn't get many PS3 ones.

So on Tuesday if your Wal-Mart doesn't have any out, be sure to ask cuz they might still be in the back.

Because they're open 24/7 how will waiting in line for these go? Does anyone know? I was thinking of going to Walmart at around 10 or 11 PM and waiting in line but I don't exactly know how that would work...

i did but they havnt charged more or anything yet. so if they dont charge me by tomorrow i going to my local walmart, asking if they are going to have rock band bundles at midnight, if yes, come home and cancel my order, then wait for midnight.

You would go to electronics of course and just tell the workers basically that you are waiting for the release and ask them where they would like you to stand so you arent "in the way" of customers paying at that moment.. Ill be hitting up mine around 11ish or so.. good luck.. im thankful I am not in a larger metro area.. but I am having a buddy of mine give me a little extra cover for that walk to the car ;) hahah..



Pretty sure you cant order RB on Wal-Mart online.. if so how'd you pull it off?

They have them in the back rooms. I got mine from them on Tues, then they pulled them into the stock room later that night when my friends went back to try to get that second copy (we failed at getting).

Since they aren't going to break street date again in the same store.. I'd say they will be there until they sell out on release night/day.

well i probably wont cancel it, ill go to walmat and see if they are having it, then get it there and if the one i ordered online doesnt show up tuesday then i made a smart move. if it did i will just take the other bundle back.

depends on if your store is a 24 hr store or not. If it is.. I'd call at the 2 or 3 hour prior mark to see how bad the line is, or how many they have to determine the answer to that question. If it's not a 24hr store.. emm.. I don't know how to advise you, sorry.

it honestly depends on where you live.. if u call ur walmart ask them how many calls they have recieved and how many copies they have... most likely if you show up at 11PM you will get a copy of it.. not everyone wil be at walmart for the release of RB.. most of the ppl who know of the game have pre-ordered it from EB/GS.. or some other store offereing pre-orders..


I dont expect there to be a huge line.. well at least at my store.. if so.. ill just go to Best Buy 10 hours later lol..

Im in Rochester, New York and the walmart near me doesn't even have them yet, i just got back from there a few minutes ago. They expect to get them by monday night so I think I'll go check it out

Are you in Evansville jpw? I'm in Bloomington, IN and talked to a guy that's done a lot of the releases at midnight. He said he's had about a half dozen calls for it. He also said they have two pallets of the bundles, so they've already got them in. I'm not sure how many bundles fit on a pallet, but he said show up at midnight and you're most likely to get one. He also said for the GH3 release people showed up but they didn't sell out until later on in the evening. So, I know there's going to be a few people there, but this guy sounded like he was confident there would be enough to go around. We'll see I suppose! I preordered for the PS3 only to find out my friend is getting it for the 360 just in time for me to be unable to change my order. lolol

My mom is the manager of a metro-Atlanta Wal-Mart and they've had them for about a week now from what shes saying. She won't tell me how many but I guess there's enough that she doesn't understand my stressing to get one. :) She has already tucked mine away in her office (its a glorious feeling). I dodged a HUGE dissapointment though! I asked what console she got it for and her reply was "Playstation 3"... I was dumbfounded. I proceeded to ask when, in her right mind, had she ever saw me purchase a PS3!?! She gladly switched it to a 360. :) I'm confident she has it right now.. I made her take pics with the box. lmao

I've called the Fort Drum 24 hour Wal-Mart 4 times now, got 4 different "associates", each of which was pretty oblivious to Rock Band's existence and release date. I'm driving two hours from Canada to get there at Midnight, so I'm hoping I won't be disapointed!!!

It really does depend on where you live. There are three Walmarts where I live and I can guarantee that none of them have it for at least a week after release, and then they'll maybe get one or two, tops. Their gaming sections are awful. The only exception was Halo 3, but that's because Microsoft paid Walmart a buttload of money.

As long as the box is unopened, you could return either one of them. Walmart would obviously be the better choice since you wouldn't have to pay return shipping.
