How many are getting it for the PS3?

I'm sure by now everyone's heard that just about every retail store is receiving much less shipments of the PS3 bundle for Rock Band. I'm wondering based on responses to this thread what my chances are of getting a copy. THANKS.

I would say not too good, but then again, who knows. The three stores near me sold out of the PS3 pre-orders pretty quickly. If you haven't pre-ordered, I'd say your chances of getting if for either system are roughly equal. Yes, there are more 360 bundles coming in at each store, but there are more 360 owners to shop for the game, so its all relative, I would think.

I forgot to mention that I didn't preorder the game and plan on going to a midnight opening. If that doesn't work, I'll stay up for the morning opening.

So if you don't get it at the midnight store, then you are basically going to camp out at the morning store for about 8 hours? If that's the case then I would say your odds are VERY high. Even if you camp out an hour or 2, I would say you would be considered way ahead of the pack.

Haha, no, I'll head back to my apartment and play CoD 4 or Assassin's Creed till about 6 or 7 AM.

Yeah i'm sure they produce them relative to the install base of each console. But since they're running out of bundles quicker for the PS3, it probably means that a higher percentage of PS3 users are going to by it. Therefore it'll be harder to get for PS3 than 360.

I've got my preorder at Gamestop, put my money down as soon as th release date was rumored because i know the stores in my area would horde them and then put them out Black Friday and i'd be screwed.
