so I was initially skeptical, sure the video has a little cheesy moment

but for the most part, this movie is looking REALLY good, I love Jennifer Connelly and finally, Keanu Reeves is given a role that suites his wooden acting

I don't know if I'll see this or not since alien movies tend to freak me out. War of the Worlds nearly killed me...when they were in the basement...I just about had a stroke.

It does look pretty impressive though. I've seen the trailer several times because the theater closest to me played it before the Dark Knight. We'll see if I can muster up the courage to go see it.

its based off the original from like 1954, and Klaatu is an Alien in a human body and he has knowledge of the end of the world

I really hope that Dana Scully and Fox Mulder make cameos in that movie, what with the events happening there being what the whole x-files aliens were built on.

I'm with you on this one dude. Although War of the Worlds wasn't to bad for me. Now Signs, that movie scared me to death! I love that movie though. I will probably see this one cause it looks good. And you don't seem to see to many alien looking creatures. just big spheres and Keanu Reeves.
