According to a guy on the blu-ray.com forums, as well as a guy on the AVS forum, Wal-Mart will be having a special sale starting at 8am on Saturday (10/24), and ending at 11:59pm Sunday (10/25), that gives you 10 free Blu-Ray movies when you purchase the 80gb PS3. Add to this that Sony is still doing the 5 free Blu-Ray movies with the purchase of any Blu-Ray player, and you're getting 15 Blu-Ray movies, a game, and the 80gb PS3 for $499. Hopefully I can sell the PS3 with its 5 free movie offer from Sony on eBay, and end up making my money back, or even taking a few dollar loss, while keeping the other 10 movies for myself.
Even better, if this deal is like their recent $99 HD-DVD player offer, it will be available online, so you don't even need to leave the house.

How reliable is this info? because my brothers are going to buy a PS3, but they where planning to wait just a little bit longer, but if this is true than this deal cannot be passed!!

I heard of this as well. I can guarantee you won't be able to get 10 different movies. Their stock will be completely blown. Thats so many dvds to give away.

Do you think they could give out like certificates so you can pick em up once they have stock, if they run out?

That would be a lot of rain checks lol. I mean i wouldnt know what to expect. It's gonna blow out extremely fast. It's a great move from Sony, this deal alone will guarantee them a big piece of the holiday pie.

I'm sure the deal is only available while supplies last or they may just give you some sort of voucher to order said movies.

It's Wal-Mart, right? I'm betting it's first-come, first-serve, as are most Black Friday deals.
