US Hardware on a Eurupean PS2 ?

I own a german PS2 PAL version. But I don't want to wait until the game is released in 2008 in europe.

So I want to import it.

Is the Rock Band Hardware (mic, drums, guitar) compatible with the PAL version of the PS2 ?

the game isn't even released on the next gen consoles yet, so I doubt you are going to get any answers out of us because I'm pretty sure no one knows. Sorry man.

I'm pretty sure the guitar/mic/drums will work, the game however will not.

I'm from Austria, so, hi there neighbor.

The instruments will work, the game will not (unless you have a chipped PS2). The 360 version will not work as well, but the PS3 version will, since it is region free.

BTW, althought the PS3/X360 versions will come out tomorrow in the US, the PS2 version will not until someday in December.
