Dlc for import Rock Band

I live in Holland and because rock band releases 25 sept I imported Rock Band on the Ps3. Two days ago there were in the Eu psn store dlc's for Rock Band, but Rock Band hasn't released yet so i thought the Dlc's were for the people that imported Rock Band. Unfortunately the Dlc's can't be reconized by the game. Can this be patched?

probably not. while importing isn't illegal, it really is a pain when you need assistance with...well, anything. it was the same way when i tried to download the God of War 3 theme for GH3 through the European store. Different regions = different content. sorry dude

totally different, but the region lock on DLC remains the same. if you buy a US region game, only US DLC will work. If you buy a EU game, only EU DLC will work.

Or I just buy ps4, which will probably come before that :)

I just can't see what is the idea of having region codes in game in platform that doesn't have region codes.

the games themselves aren't region-locked, but the downloadable content is region-specific. the PS3 is region-free and all the games work on all the systems. DLC is a different story though. you can't use European DLC on a US Game or vice-versa. That doesn't even make sense.

Games should be identical, no matter where you buy it ( excluding regional bonus songs). DLCs should be regional. So, if i'm in europe, I can only buy european DLCs. The fact that I need to use USA DLCs with non-region coded game that is bought from USA doesn't make any sense.
