Without having to buy it again.
Im at college now, so I want to get some songs to play here at school. But at school, I use my roommate's PS3, and at home, I use my brother's PS3. How would I do it so I can download the same songs for both PS3s without having to buy it again?

you wont...solution here ? get your own. Or, go cheaper, and get an xbox 360, they have an affordable package running 270 dollars now, and also, on xbox live, everything is tied to your gamer tag, so if you pay for something once, you can download it again later without paying again.
Xbox Live is far superior to the playstation network, this isnt fanboyism, this comes from using both extensively.

The DLC is assigned to your account once you download them. I believe you can re-download them on another PS3, but I'm not sure if it was disable for Rock Band DLC. It worked with Tekken: Dark Ressurrection.

Novel idea, your roommate pays for the content for his PS3.
If he's not into Rock Band...he will be.

Lol he's not going to go out and buy an Xbox 360 for DLC. He didn't ask to get a new system.

well I'm not sure since I don't own a ps3(do have access to one in the house though) but can't you save teh DLC to memory card with your online profile ro wallet and then just transfer it?

Hey I have a great idea!
Lets go to a company's web site and use their bandwidth to discuss ways that we can rip them off!

ve been hearing issues that the les paul doesnt work with rock band in the ps3 version, so...i mean, the 360 suggestion might not be a bad idea lol.

My understanding according to this article here (http://www.tech.co.uk/digital-home/general/blogs/2007/04/06/10-ps3-tricks-sony-doesnt-tell-you) is that this should work just fine, though I have not tried it myself. Here's the quote:
8) Share your bought downloads
You can download anything you've bought from the store to five PlayStation 3's. This is useful if you've got more than one PS3 (of course) and also if you've wiped your hard-drive and don't fancy paying for the same download twice...
However, you can also choose to share your download with your mates. The PlayStation Store logs how many times each download has been downloaded by each user. On your mate's PS3 Create New User and log onto the store with your ID. You'll now be able to go to your download and see that you've already downloaded whatever it was that you paid for. You can now download it again, using another of your downloads and giving it to your mate for free. Or a small optional charge...

Please stop spreading false rumors and FUD about the PS3 if you don't know. You CAN share what you download on your PS3, except if there is a protection like the Warhawk game.
If you want to start a PS3 vs. Xbox, I can argue that you shouldn't get it on the 360 cause you'll play plenty and with the RROD, you'll be really pissed off to send back you Xbox for a month (more or less). ;)
