Rock Band Central problems - new

Ok, last night I was playing, online, and everything was fine and dandy.
However, when I went to check leaderboards, it said I wasn't connected to Rock Central and could only view local leaderboards (scores on my xbox only). I was for sure online, because xbl was working fine, getting messages, etc. but it would not connect to RC.
Was this an temporary issue with RC? or is it something greater?
oh, and;
Will stuff I did during this time count?

I've been having the same problem when trying to look at the Battle of the Bands challenges, but once I rock a few songs in the tour then come back out, its all good.

Yes, the Rock Central connection seems sketchy some times and completely unrelated to whether the XBOX Live connection is active.

Yeah, what I usually do is just go back to the main menu when it does that, wait until the message, "Attempting to connect to Rock Central" goes away, then I just go back to what I was doing. That method seems to work the best. :)

same problem here except i havent been able to connect to it at all. i can in RB1 but not 2 i want to link the game but cant. kinda annoying.
i only just got RB2 today.
