drum problems

I know this has been covered already, but i just became a member and didn't want to go throught endless pages, but i just purchesed the RB2 wireless drum set, not the ion, and the blue drum pad isn't working correctly, if i hit it to hard it usually double hits, so i miss the note completely. this wouldn't be a problem but now most of the songs i play have a lot of blues. Any clue why and what i should do besides getting it replaced.

Or return it to the retailer you purchased it from. Regarding the RMAs, I wouldn't feel totally comfortable going that route until HMX comes out says that they've identified the problem and know what sets it's affecting. Otherwise, I have a bad feeling that a lot of the replacement sets are going to be the same defective ones that are being sent back in. Hope I'm wrong...

i had double hit problem but they seems to go away after a long time of playin and beatin the hell out of them...im startin to rarely see it anymore hope i didnt jinx it -.- dont get me wrong tho it still double hits when it wants to its like my drum has a mind of its own :l its rly annoyin

I just bought my set yesterday and I thought it was a double-hit issue with the blue. It turns out that 3 out of 5 hits to the blue will also cause the yellow to trigger, effectively ruining any streak to may have been going. None of the other pads have a single issue. Hitting yellow doesn't trigger blue either.

I really don't want to RMA the thing, as I'm having a party this weekend. Can't return and exchange either since this is the only set that any retailers in town got so far.

First my RB1 launch guitar and drums don't work properly out of the box and now a $90 drum kit does the same. Ugh...
