Would anyone know what I could get in credit toward RB if I traded in all four Guitar Hero games and two guitars?

Assuming that you aren't going to get that 30% credit that was floating around I would say 90 dollars or so if one of those guitars you are trading in is the Les Paul.
If you were expecting more, let me put this into perspective. Assassin's Creed was released at my game store Wednesday the 14th. I went in on Friday the 16th as well to pick up Uncharted and they had another label next to the $59.99 price and it said "Trade In Value $29.99" So, there you go. As soon as that plastic comes off the game you lose half, if you try to trade it in.

I traded in an Xbox 360 Core unit, plus a 20GB hard drive, and a headset. I got 150 bucks for it, and I had 25 bucks on RB, so I only owed 7 more dollars and I just paid it all off. So tomorrow I get to walk in and walk out with RB hassel free!!!

Yeah...But whatever, I will glady lose money to get whats going to be the greatest game of this generation. Its Gamestop, they will gyp you of your cash if you trade in. I'm going to really start stopping trading in there, and just sell to people for my own prices.

Is that 30% deal still going on?

I traded in gh1, gh2, and 80's, 2 ps2 guitars and ghIII bundle for 360 and it came to about 175 or maybe a bit more in trade...a no brainer for me paid off my 1st bundle reserve! And ya know those arent gonna do anything but gather dust going foward anyway...

Nice! So I should come out with about 180-190 bucks.

For those who think GS jips you out of your cash, go see how much a pawn shop will give you.

I don't care how cool Rock Band is going to be, I'll never sell my GH1!!!
Mostly because I can't find it right now. :(

It's just the Law of Diminishing Returns guys. Everybody's going to rip you off because not enough people care to stop, and they never will.
I stopped selling games back after I found myself to come back looking for the same stuff I traded in years later.
I still own mint original prints of Valkyrie Profile and both Lunar games with all their extras. I find a lot more value in collecting than saving $15 on my next purchase.
I'll happily buy used games, but I won't trade them in.
On a side note, I finally found a copy of Samurai Shodown V on Xbox. Anybody have that one?

I was thinking that as well, but I've played the games worth in the time its been out. I hate to let go, but if it means a free RB Bundle then I think I can part with it.
80's and GHIII just couldn't catch my attention like the first two, so no "sentimental value" there.
Fear wasn't a game I could really get into. So thats just a little extra credit there.
