I just called Gamestop to switch my preorder from my PS3 to Xbox and they said the last preorder was filled yesterday.

I guess 1 guitar rock band is what it's going to have to be...;(

The biggest problem is that I work all day tommorow. I have to send my mom down to the store in the morning to pick it up. Also, my work is more then an hour away from ebgames, so picking it up at lunch is not an option :(

Just go to another store tomorrow (Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Circuit City). You should be able to score one early in the morning.

If possible, keep the preorder in and wait to see if you can get a copy at a BB or elsewhere tomorrow. If not, I'm sure you could find a way to trade a PS3 version for a 360 version.

Yeah my friend got his pre-order canceled from a local EBGames because they took too many pre-orders. =\ Shame, although he went to an F.Y.E. and got another pre-order easily, the store didn't know a thing about Rock Band like anything that needs be be known from a store such as, game details, price, or whether their getting the game or bundle. Sorta thought it was said if there advertising they "do it all".

So I would suggest check your local FYE today and see how it goes, if no luck check any big box stores early in the morning.

Every (6+ I tried) EB/GameStop location sold out of the PS3 bundles. One of those stores might have a 360 bundle.
Four Area Walmarts, including a 24-hour one, haven't received any RB shipments yet, and won't have the game out until Wednesday at the earliest (except the 24h one, they just don't know).
Two area FYE stores, one has received two PS3 kits, the other hasn't gotten any RB items at all yet. They might get it later today.
The local CompUSA has RockBand for the 360 in stock, will be selling "in limited quantities" tomorrow, rest held for Black Friday ad. Will not have the PS3 version. (#$%@ers)
Best Buy, confirms will have "at least 8" per their flyer tomorrow. Talked to another guy says they have 20-30 360's and "mabye 10" PS3s.
Circuit City isn't answering the phone.


So, in this wonderful area (a state capital, I might add), if you didn't preorder and need a PS3 kit, you get to fight for maybe 10-12 bundles.

(I'd say exactly where I'm at -- but I don't need more competition, sorry guys. :) )

Actually I was trying to preorder from an EB games up here on the 9th (the day they stopped accepting pre-orders) and I actually drove there, got to the counter, and asked for the preorder before the other guy got my call off hold. Embarrassed to say the least -- but they still couldn't get me a preorder. :(

i'm kind of hoping i have a horror story with a happy ending to tell tomorrow.

but i very rarely pre order big releases and some how come out unscathed every time. this one is shaping up to be on par with a system release though. but i have done this so many times with other games, i feel confident i will have it home with in an hour of the stores opening.

i'm debating on driving to a 24hour walmart.. but the above news isnt promising and they are all a bit out of the way. best buys are the best bet. especially the one in my area. i remember GH 1 and 2 they had over 50 units in stock every three days. probably not the case with this game.. but i am sure they will have 20 plus in stock tomorrow. just gotta make sure i am the first one in that door. :rolleyes:
luckily.. there are 5 electronics stores in the general area of that best buy. and a kmart next door. and walmart down the street. one of the stores i wont mention so as not to blow my back up. carries tons of video games, but NO ONE ever thinks to go there. often if its sold out at the best buy i can literally walk next door and find tons of them in stock. and then worste case scenario there is always the mall around the corner..:mad: i hate it but it has 6 stores that carry games.

as you can see i have about 14+ options (if i include the 5 eb/gamestops but they never have anything in stock EVER!) to find it in all with in 5mile radius. so i should be all set.

now i just have to make it through today with out having a stroke from the stress of waiting and imagining all the horrible scenarios that could occur. :rolleyes:

i've gone over everything in my mind a million times.. had just about every scenario covered by last week.. there was one i was dreading.. my car breaking down.. buuuuuuuuuuut since my mom just got hers serviced saturday, i'm gonna take that.. so everything should be just fine.

unless something beyond my control happens.. like the dreaded.. "we didnt receive our shipment for some reason" :eek:
