RB2 controller disconnect- bombs to menu

I am playing RB2 with the new wireless set, 2 gibson explorers (wired) and a logitech USB mic. Never had this problem before in RB1 but in the middle of jamming the 'please connect controller' popped up and then almost immediately we got the rb2 loading screen then we were bounced out to the menu. No instruments were unplugged and this has only happened ONCE so far so I am gonna chalk it up to a fluke. BUT, with all the headaches my 3 RB1 drum sets gave me across the board, I wouldnt be surprised if the wireless kit loses signal. When you disconnect a controller you dont even get an option to quit (normally), this was like a total bug and wanting to see if anyone has had a similar experience? Thx

Batteries?
Also could be wireless interference. If you have any wireless routers, or cordless phones around, you might want to consider re-arranging some things.
With that said, I am suprised it bumped you back. It should just pause and ask you to reconnect controller and press start to continue.

i have a similar problem. I use the RB1 wireless guitar, and when I play online it will randomly say "please reconnect controller." It doesn't bounce me back to the menu though. I just have to hit the xbox button to "reconnect" it. It does not do it if i play solo, and it never did it on RB1. My battery bar is full, so batteries are probably not the problem.
