Final Demo Gig

How many of you are going to go to your local store that has the Rock Band demo up to play one last gig at that store? What song will be your finishing number before Rock Band is released? Will you make it your best performance as a Rock Band demo star?

I will goto Walmart and play Black Hole Sun as my last. And bring a foam cup to take change and possibly some spit. But overall, I will make my last demo gig memorable....for the ages!

Not me. I have been listening to nothing but my Rock Band playlist on my iPod for 6 months. I haven't listened to it since Friday, and won't again until I've got the game.

I do the same thing when I'm about to go to a concert. I cut myself off from the music I'm about to experience. It makes the show that much more enjoyable when I've been deprived and I'm really craving it. =]

Unfortunately, I haven't started my first gig. I live in middle earth (otherwise known as white trash USA).

Everyone's too busy being fat and pear shaped, woddling through Walmart with a broken cart with gum stuck to one wheel making that *katunk-katunk-katunk* sound, as they long for the minute they can harrass the everloving fck out of any person with an ounce of intelligence within eyeshot. "Our society is not interested in things that take patience", said any walmart in my county. "They will never play a game like Rock Band. Let's not set up the demo."

As the sun sets on the oily parking lot of my walmart, the stench of hamburger-heart attack-waiting-to-happen and pure insolence saturate the air, and the insanity ensues until all will fall to rot.

So in other words, I haven't had a chance to play it. How much more can I express my disliking to most of all around me than to write a short narrative?

Strum bar is broken, drums don't respond well, having to look up at the screen, can't even sit for the drums anyway

not going to sour my anticipation by playing a horrible demo...sad cause GHIII demos work great and you see way more people on those (at least I have)
