Indie Rockers Rejoice..... Well a little!

So we managed to get my favourite band into RB2! INTERPOL!!!!!! I love it Thank You Harmonix/EA You have made me very happy! Alos nice to see Modest Mouse in there, good choice. How about Wolf Parade or The Arcade Fire? Maybe some Pinback? All these bands would be extremely fun to play! DLC would be perfect option for these bands and I'm sure that liscensing indie bands to RB would be easy seeing as it would get their music out there! But all I really want for christmas is more Interpol. And I swear I've been a really good boy this year and PDA was just a taste of the greatness! I know that there is enough support out there to make an Interpol album (preferrably Turn On The Bright Lights) DLC a smash hit or at the least for now a track pack. Anyways I'm sure there are others that feel the same way. Thank you for your consideration!

I wouldn't call myself specifically an indie rocker, but I support you entirely.
I voted for wolf parade, swan lake and arcade fire.
Anything by Arcade Fire would be great. I never liked Interpol or Nada Surf much though. Wolf Parade's a mixed bag for me, but I'm cool with them and I'd probably get anything they might get released for Rock Band. Swan Lake... it's funny, anything Spencer Krug writes is pretty much gold in my book, and I like Dan Bejar too, but I pretty much hated that Swan Lake album. Except for All Fires. All Fires was cool. I can't even remember what it sounds like now, but I'd buy it.

Modern indie-ish/Alt bands I'd definitely like to see: Spoon, Okkervil River, The National, The Shins, Grizzly Bear(though they wouldnt fit really at all.) and Belle and Sebastian for god's sake.

@OP- Hard to rejoice when I can't play it because I am a PS3 owner :mad: Also the whole genre is so totally under represented in RB it angers me. Why can't we get some DLC????? One song on the disc- give me a break!! At least GHWT has Interpol AND Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Awesome guys!! It's great to see some support out there for great artists not represented nearly enough in the music game genre! I whole-heartedly agree that The shins, Violent Femmes and Bloc party all have something to offer this game! If we band together and keep our ideas and opinions pouring in, hopefully Harmonix will listen and respond with some DLC! And I just want to say that on a general basis Harmonix/EA have done a tremendous job of putting together what I think is the most revolutionary and exciting game of our generation. They have taken our input in the past, listened and actually done something with it. I truly believe that this time will be no different! I predict at the vary least an indie track pack featuring some of the most popular indie bands. Realistically the sky is the limit pending liscensing.

Their latest disc, "Some Are Lakes" is even better than "Applause Cheer Boo Hiss". I love the singer's voice. I also dig the new Okkervil River song, "Lost Coastlines". That would be fun in the game.

Hey I just thought of a good one, they're not modern really anymore, they disbanded a few years back. Dismemberment Plan. Haven't listened to them in a long time, but they came up on random on my itunes and I remembered how freaking awesome their drummer was. Would be sweet for this game. Any fans?

Wow, we just managed to get Bandages by HotHot Heat today! That's pretty awesome too! I think if i had to have picked a song by them that would have been top 3 for sure! Good Job HARMONIX/EA. You guys are doing a phenomenal job so far.
