I hope some of those customers who were a little rude to the Harmonix guys come on here and show some appreciation for this. It wasn't perfect but we got this patch just 1 week after the Americans - not bad by some standards.

I've just downloaded it myself and I'm about to rock out for the first time!!!

It definitely works. Bought mine from ASDA on the way home from work, and have been rocking out ever since!!
Now to spend some more money on download tracks!!#

I think the 360 version got it straight away. Us PS3 owners just had to wait a bit longer.

Yea we are talkin about the EU PS3 version. And indeed it does now work with the PS3 GH3 les paul. And with all DLC that I have tried (about 20 songs or so) :D

Hi yeah thanks harmonix good patch, now how about a patch for usa games in the uk so we can use dlc songs... oh and how about a patch so we can make game save back ups and not loose all our bands if the ps3 goes wrong..

So, to be clear, is it the Rock Band Song Export Key posted in the PLAYSTATION Store @ £2.49 that patches in the GH3 controller or is it an automatic update on the game that just patches to the next version?

Been looking forward to playing Learn To Fly and Wanted Dead Or Alive for weeks now was gutted to hear my GH3 guitar wouldn't be sufficient until the game patch was out.

The patch iis a software update, which comes up when you boot-up the game like any other games software update is performed. The export key lets you save almost all of the original RB songs to the PS3's HDD and lets you use them in RB2.

Didn't even realise I'd downloaded this patch already think it must have been bundled with an update.

Just to let anyone else know I have a US copy of the game and can now use my UK SG from GH3 in rock band on PS3 although i haven't tried using the Strat with GH3. Methinks they decided to get all this sorted before world tour comes out to get rid of reasons for people not to buy Rock Band. Maybe I'm just getting cynical in my old age.

Now all we need is the EU store content working with US games so i can get some new tracks and I'll be very happy.
