I am kind of surprised by some of their choices, interesting list though. I'm glad I don't spend too much time near any of those cities.

I don't live in any of them, but I bought a gun anyway. Can't be too careful in any big city.

A seconded Woo Hoo for St. Louis.

Of course, I actually live in county, not three hours away. ;)

See Chicago isn't bad at all... I dunno why everyone thinks it's all bad.. I mean sure there are bad areas but what city doesn't have their "ghettos"... and I bought some guns too haha you never know.... I but a 12 gauge to keep at home so my mom doesn't freak out when I move out... she's gets scared easily

Make sure you teach her how to clean it and take her to some shooting practice too. You'd be surprised how many people can't work a safety in times of trouble.

I have a house in Flint that has been on the market for 3 years now. I am actually on the southern border of another town and my neighborhood is nice. However, there are areas like any other city that are really bad. Hell, here in Columbus, OH I see more crime related stories than I did in Flint, MI

Ya you're right... I'll have to take her to the range sometime... I showed her how to handle the safety but hopefully she'll never have to use it

I was under the impression that the lower the numbers, the higher the rate for that category

The numbers are rankings by per-capita rates. So Flint has the largest portion of its population getting murdered every year. Yeah, Michigan will ****ing kill you :p

Related story: An acquaintance of mine was chilling in his house near downtown Saginaw, MI with his 2 friends and his younger brother. Out of nowhere, 4 black guys break down his door, pistol whip him and his friends, and tie up his brother downstairs while they rob the place. Fortunately about 95% of the violent crime in MI is concentrated in these three cities, leaving everyone else pretty safe.

^That is why I have a Walther P-99 with hollow points under my bed and a Benelli-Nove
.12 gauge in the corner of the living room.

Hey quick revolution people? No takers? Awwww :p j/k

Anyway wonder which towns in UK would go on that. Liverpool? Birmingham? The outer boroughs of London?

And in America the only place I've spent a considerable amount of time was San Antonio and that was quite rich and middle class. Well I'm sure I could of found the slav- I mean cleaner's houses somewhere

Why do you think Americans needed to carry guns in the first place? Oh yeah, some pansy Brits in red jackets decided to stand in fields in straight lines while we picked them off. :p
