Making GH Guitars work on Rockband(PS3)

Bought the PS2 to PS3 adapter from Pelican and it doesn't work, is there something I need to do or any info on a patch?

I don't want to waste anymore money trying to make it work if it's something I need to just wait for.

Also any word on additional Guitars for Rockband for Sale?

Well, these are the instructions posted, so I guess give them a shot. They're for Guitar Hero, but maybe (hopefully) work with Rock Band.

Instructions:
For right-handed players
Instructions to play Guitar Hero 2 in Righty Mode (left hand used for colored frets, right hand to strum):

# Flip the switch on the side of the adapter to GH2
# Plug in your guitar into the adapter
# Plug in your adapter to the PS3
# Insert your Guitar Hero 2 game into your PS3
# Allow Guitar Hero 2 game to load
# Press the PS button on the adapter once the game is loaded. At the Main Menu:
-To ADVANCE in game menus, press the (ORANGE FRET + STRUM at the same time)
-To BACK OUT or CANCEL in game menus, press the (RED FRET + STRUM at the same time)
# Advance through the menus to select your Game Mode, Song and Difficulty
# Get ready to play!


Instructions:
For left-handed players
Instructions to play Guitar Hero 2 in Lefty Mode (right hand used for colored frets, left hand to strum):

# Flip the switch on the side of the adapter to GH2
