Should I trade in Guitar Hero 3?

Well I guess the title says it all. I'm a PS3 owner and with the news that the Les Paul doesn't work is a big strike against it. I do play on nothing but expert but I am not a person that scans leaderboards and constantly tries to best my previous scores. I am not in complete love with the game but I do enjoy it.

With Rock Band, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, and the upcoming Haze, Guitar Hero 3 is not going to get played pretty much at all. Hypothetically if I could get 50 dollars to put back in my pocket (because despite all the raving reviews I don't want CoD4) for xmas spending should I do this?

If you want rock band more and don't have the money... Go for it, If you can afford it and really don't need that extra 50, keep it because it's a pretty good game. Just my opinion though, what you do with your money is your problem bro :p

I dunno, you paid 100 bucks for the damn thing, you will get just about half back for the game if its just the game you are trading in (30 bucks after trade in).

Well, considering the GH3 guitar is seemingly useless for a PS3, I'd get rid of it if I were you. Since you mentioned you'll be getting those schweet games, I'd get rid of GH3. You're soon to have quite the nice game collection and could use the pocket money.

Well...I don't think I personally would trade it in. I always go back to games I haven't played in awhile and its like new almost.

I don't have a PS3 sadly...so I wouldn't trade it in since I couldn't get any better game.

I'm taking GH III with me when I go to pick up my bundle. I didn't particularly care for it. I'm keeping my GH II disk though... I still play that.

I'm thinking the same thing, but exchanging it for the PS2 game only since those controllers work with it, and saving $50.

yeah I would considering the number of games coming out that you're interested in...and don't forget about Burnout Paradise and GTA IV both coming out before too long. Best console gaming we've had in so long .....good times good times
