Triple J, the best Aussie music station, puts on this "event" once a year. Basicly ppl vote for what bands they wanna hear then Triple J play live sets from those bands.
The whole thing runs for like 2 and a half days, non stop live sets from like 60 bands. They're not a commercial radio station either, and they always broadcast songs in full without edits for swearing etc.
Check out the link for all the bands theyre playing. Big ones include Foo Fighters, YYY's, The Cure, Chemical Bros, Muse, New Order, Bjork, Picies, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, Franz Ferdinand, Ramones and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.
Other ones I'm looking forward to are Air, Arcade Fire, The Verve, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, Hiltop Hoods, Silvechair and Spiderbait.
I think all the recordings were recorded by the radio station over the years when bands tour Australia.
I'm pretty sure all u guys in the US can stream the whole thing online too. So check it out!
