I've got a geeky question for y'all...

As evidenced by this thread (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82340), I recently acquired my first electric guitar.

So I've got a question for all you seasoned guitar players out there... Anybody know how to play that little riff that RB plays when your name pops up on screen right before a song kicks in?

My friend recently started playing drums, and I think it'd be awesome if right before we start jamming together, I could play that little opening riff and he could play that little fill.

Could anybody here make my dorky dream a reality?

It's actually several instruments. I'll listen to it and see if I can pick out the chord later on... but - from memory it's a drum rimshot, single bass note and two notes (possibly 2 chords) on guitar. I'll post again later if you don't get your answer.

Thanks dude. I know the drum riff is (what sounds to be) a bass drum kick, a rimshot, and a snare hit or two, but I'm only interested in the guitar riff.

I agree, the guitar part does sound like a single bass note and two notes or chords. Just trying to figure out which ones, exactly. Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

After some twiddling around, I think I figured it out on my own. If anyone's curious...

E string 5th fret, E string 3rd fret, pull off, full E chord.

Shockingly simple.

Awesome!! Thanks anyway!
