If you can't have someone there to pick it up just leave a note on your door stating to leave it. I've been able to do this many times, I'm not sure how your's is being shipped though.

Would you be willing to have the UPS or whatever guy just leave your Rock Band Bundle on your door step?!! You must live in a really safe neighborhood...:D

If nobody is there, you'd most likely get a note on your door directing you to pick it up at a pick up station. However, I live in Canada, and thats how it is here. Don't know about the US though.

Yeah, if you know where your local UPS facility is, and it is close by, you're probably better off just having them take the package back there and you can go pick up later.

i think it's supposed to be held at a customer center location. the other places are just drop off points where you can mail stuff out, but not receive.
i dont think the delivery guy is supposed to just drop it on your doorstep unless they have specific instructions that it is allowed because theyll be liable without a signature if it gets stolen or lost. what is dumb is that delivery guys will even have neighbors sign for packages, so youre screwed if your neighbor is dishonest.

usually if they cant get anyone to sign for it, they leave you a notice saying to call the center or theyll try and redeliver the next business day. but if youre going to be out again, it makes no sense so you should call and arrange to pick it up unless you live really really far away.
