The musician had performed Friday night at an event alongside Perry Farrell, the former Jane's Addiction singer, as well as Gavin DeGraw and DJ AM. It's not known whether Farrell and DeGraw were also on the plane.

Apparently they survived because they fell out of the plane, on fire, onto the highway. They were able to help get to the plane, they'll be alright.

Yea this is bad. Ive been seeing reports that Travis is very badly burned from the waist down and DJ has facial burns.

Hope things turn out well. RIP to those didnt make it. Sad news indeed.

Very glad to hear that Perry Ferril was not on the plane. He's been one of my music idols for years. I hope the survivors pull through ok and can continue to make music. Sad about the 4 others that died in the crash. It just shows you how fragile life can be and to not take things in your life for granted, doesn't take much for it all to end. :(

The other was a security guard. Probably his bodyguard.

Sounds like Travis and AM are going to be alright .. they were talking to a witness shortly after the accident occurred.

i saw an update to the story on the tv and they said that both Barker and DJ AM are doing well in the hospital and are expected to be ok. Barker suffered burns mostly on his legs, while DJ Am has part of his face burnt, but both avoided any kind of serious burns or injuries to any organs.

EDIT: Oh Wow! this is huge... MTV is also reporting that barker's ex-wife was going into labor with thier child as the plane crash occured. now Its even mroe important that Barker survives, as his kid was just born today
