OK first of all I hear I have too wait a month for the game. Now I hear that my Les Paul wont work with Rock BAnd. THis is the biggest ammount of BS! i have heard in a while. I AM EXTEMLY PISSED OFF. If they dont make a patch by the time it is released in Canada I will not bother buying Rock BAnd anymore. Is anybody else with me?

Yay, yet another thread combing the two most unneccesary thread-spawning topics. You know there's a reason they keep locking threads about the Canadian delay and the PS3 controller issue?? There's too many of them, which are pushing other topics off the top page.

maybe with the increased pressure of the ps3 guitar issue theyll roll out standalone strats by the time the canadian release date rolls around.

That sucks man, is there a telethon number I can phone or something? Look it's out of your hands, there's nothing you can do or say that's going to make them release the game earlier or make the GHIII controller work (which being a PS3 owner, I'd like). I imagine that once we get to launch day, HMXs focus will be dealing with any post-launch issues.

I'm glad there wasn't internet forums during WWII when rationing was around. There would've been some f*cked up threads then!

Funny, I always thought the forums were the place to express your opinions about the things that matter to you. Now I am not one to support the people who have been vulgar and rude in their posts, but I do think keeping issues that matter to you on the front page is important. Will it change the situation? I doubt it, but people do want a place to vent and this IS the place to do that. Although Canada has a smaller population that the US, we do have a higher per capita ratio of gamers (might have something to do with our long winters) so the launch delay is something that matters to us. As far as controller issues go, I am sure people want to vent about that as well.

If you don't think the Rock Band forums are the place to address these issues, then I guess everyone and their brother has missed the point of the forums. Maybe you could enlighten us........but somehow, I doubt it.

No I think this is the place to address these issues, but I think they should be addressed in the TEN OTHER THREADS that already exist on these forums so the front pages topics don't read as a long list of "Canada delay WTF?' 'PS3 Controller WTF?' 'Hey WTF is with the Canada delay?' 'WTF is with all the WTFing about the Delays?' 'WTF GHIII controller compatibility delay because of Canada?!?' If you post in a topic that already exist it bumps it to the front page anyway. I've seen so many people post almost the exact same comment in four different threads dealing with the same issue and it's frustrating as hell. I've a vested interest in the GHIII controller issue for the PS3, but I'm not going to create a seperate thread about it because I already posted in the one that exists, or one of them anyway. As I said there's a reason the threads get locked. It's launch night, people want to be able to talk about how excited they are instead of sifting through post after post dealing with issues that don't relate to them, ie US Xbox360 owners. That's all I'm saying. I'm no belittling your opinion, or your right to express, I'm just saying for everyone's sake, express it in the place that everyone else is expressing their opinions about the issue. If anything it will add more weight to the issue. Having one thread with 500 posts gives a clearer signal that an issue is an important one to HMX than having 10 threads with 50 posts each.

I quite agree to keeping it to one post, and I certainly have no need of seeing WTF this and that all over the place. My issue, as with many Canadians, is that we have tried to keep a clear thread posted regarding our concerns, a SINGLE thread, but due to the rude actions a minority few, these threads keep being locked, as a result, new ones have to be posted. As far as you vested interest in your PS3 controller, I have seen a dozen posts today on that issue, but unlucky for you, they have all been locked. Wonder why, maybe is is another issue that HMX doesn't want on the front page

Uhm no, if you look about 2 or 3 posts below this one, there's ONE thread dealing with that very issue, the first thread that was started about it and is still going strong while all the other threads were rightly locked because from what I saw earlier there was mass confusion as information was being released on some thread dealing with the issue, but not others as people posted articles etc that answered questions that were still being asked in other threads. So if we agree there should only be one thread, what the hell are we arguing about? Because that's all I'm talking about.

I have not disagreed with you at all on the number of threads that should exist. My point is this, that you called an issue that is important to me unnecessary, and fail to recognize the point that EVERY Canadian delay topic has been locked. The only active one that remains open currently has been one dealing with possible shipments to Canada. Enuf said, I have no interest in pursuing this further. My current goal of location possible Canadian retailers who may be receiving shipments is far more important to me

Well sorry, but you mis-interpreted me then, I meant unnecessary in that there was already numerous threads dealing with both issues. Not that the issue themselves were unnecessary, as cleary being a PS3 owner myself, one of said issues is clearly necessary to me.
