Broken Mic

On my way home from work I swung by Blockbuster and sure enough they had RockBand bundles. I picked one up came home and we started playing. But.... the mic is dead in the water. The XBOX knows its there but we get no audio from it. When we unplug it the 360 says that we need to plug it back in but again, no audio. Instead we are having to play like Britney Spears and wear the headset mic.

EA's support page isn't allowing me in yet.


Those of you waiting till midnight may want to run by Blockbuster and it might save you some time.

You can always try using a headset, it should work, not as well as the mic, but it could hold you over until you get a new one. It stinks that it isn't working though.

I thought you could turn down/adjust your voice volume versus the singers....maybe the volume is all the way down and just seems broken?

I think there's a control for the mic sensitivity as well, might want to check that out. Could just be turned all the way down.

The sensitivity is all the way up. Unless it's in the dashboard to enable it. i haven't lookedthere yet but the sensitivity in the game is all the way up.
