Unable to save game content

Ok, I have been playing rock band 2 since its release with my friends and family, I have about 7 characters already and most of the tour/challenges done on my xbox live account. I got the three red lights and my xbox broke, although now when I load my game and stuff on my friend's xbox I can't seem to save any content (character creation, clothing changes, challenges, etc) but I can load content without a problem, DLC and all. When it tries to autosave or when I try to manually save it says.

"Saving has failed for an unknown reason. Selected storage device is no longer available."
-Continue

"Autosave has been disabled. In order to re-enable it, you need to save or load your game using the 'Manage Data' menu under the 'Options' menu."
-Continue

I can continue playing my game, but I can not do anything but quickplay because nothing saves. I have tried 2 different xboxs and I have made sure my hard drive is secured etc, any ideas to why it seems to lose track of my hard drive?

hey, i am having the same problem, really dont want to have to delete my save file to make this work. anyone?

Exactly the same problem here. Bought a new 120GB HD, transferred content. Still nothing. Created a new character and saved it. Rebooted XBOX360, character is gone. Ideas?:confused::mad:
