[Deep exhale] Okay, thanks for taking the time to read my explanation.
Normally I wouldn't bother any of the staff about software issues that could be argued from many points of preference, or about what has been left out of Rock Band 2, or whatever. But this is something that probably hasn't been brought to your attention. Some songs on Expert difficulty drums have had missing snare notes.
"Who's Going Home With You Tonight?" has a snare note missing in VERSE 1, and both "Hier Kommt Alex" and "Learn To Fly" each have a snare note missing in CHORUS 3. Those were the only ones I knew of, and I don't even own all of the DLC. Okay, I thought... not that big of a deal; I'll suck it up and let it go figuring that one of these days the staff will patch them because someone on the forums will bring it to their attention.
But it's been almost a year since "Learn To Fly" was released on Rock Band (it still hasn't been patched), and then five minutes ago I played "Testify" on Expert drums that had not one, but TWO missing snare notes in the MAIN RIFF. This was the last straw. I thought, oh, c'mon! Someone has to bring this to the staff's attention already. If they knew of this, I don't think they'd let it go unfixed!
So I ask Harmonix: Please, please, PLEASE patch these songs already! The former mentioned songs were not that big of a deal at first, but now there's two missing snare drum notes in "Testify," one of the most fun songs I've had on Expert drums in the game. This is no longer cool, and if someone at Harmonix plays any of these songs on Expert drums they'll know what I mean.
~Stephen~
NOTE: If anyone else knows of any missing notes on Expert difficulty drum charts, please post them here. I'm going to keep bumping this thread up until someone in the staff responds.

Wanted Dead or Alive has a whole drum roll section missing. I don't know about the rest. I'm not good enough to notice 1 missing snare.

Yea that one on "Learn to Fly" is a clear miss. There's also an error in the charting on "Black Hole Sun" towards the end.

First of all, please do not bump threads unless you actually have something new to post. The mods and devs are all over these forums pretty much round the clock so there's not much that slips past us, so there's not really much reason to self bump (especially 5 times within the span of three days) to catch our attention. Please try to remain patient and we'll respond as soon as we're able to.
Secondly, regarding these phantom snare notes, this isn't something that's been pointed out to me before (for these specific songs). I wasn't directly involved with charting any of these songs so I can't speak for the audio department, but I'd chalk this up to "check the master tracks." More often than not when people have pointed out notes that we "missed" or "forgot to chart" it usually boils down to the fact that it's not on the master track and was added in post production.
The recent discussion of the drum track for Paramore's That's What You Get is a good example, since the phantom notes from that track were played on an electronic drum loop and were not played by their drummer on the master track.
I feel pretty confident in our audio team, and not just because they're an l33t team of experienced musicians who go through these note charts obsessively to make sure they're up to par, but also because they have the master tracks and they can hear what the musicians actually played.

Thanks for your response, Henry. I'll keep it in mind that I will get a response within a matter of time without bumping required. These snare notes I am refering to are, in fact, solid snare hits; unmistakable, you can hear them clear as day. If you forward this to your audio team I know they will catch the missing notes in the exact sections of the songs I pointed to.
Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kp4Dq-sWCz4&
1st missing snare note: 0:43
2nd missing snare note: 0:48
Like I said, unmistakable.
