Heres a theory .. if the Les Paul comes up as a mic, why not plug the mic up before activating the Les Paul and see what happens? Basically, have the Les Paul the last thing to hook up so it has no choice but to be a guitar

My wife and I also just played a small 5 song set. I did have to calibrate to tell the game I had a plasma, but after that it was GHII with Wired SG accurate! I love the guitar.
