ION DRUMROCKER SET broke?

I bought the ION set and its awesome besides the fact that the hi-hat cymbals seems to DROP NOTES ALOT!! but when I use the yellow pad it works fine. Could it be possible that my cymbal is defective? Has anyone else experienced this problem or any drop notes with the set?

Those have to be tightened down really snug to work properly. They cannot be loose. Try that.

How tight is your cymbal? I know people love a cymbal that kinda flops/moves like a real cymbal, but the tighter the better in this case.
Also, are you hitting it hard enough? These cymbals are much less sensitive than the pads (by necessity). I find I'll occasionally drop notes during a verse because I lighten up -- but I never miss a note in the chorus. :-)
