wireless drum problem

I just unboxed my wireless drums, assembled them and discovered that I can't sync my drums to my console. Basically I hit the sync button on the drums and it does nothing, am I doing something wrong?

Syncing controllers to the 360 can be messy sometimes. First, ensure you have turned on the drums by holding down the guide button for a few seconds. The rings should light up. Then, press the connect button on the CONSOLE first, then quickly press and hold the connect button on the drums.

Worked a charm for me anyway. ;)

The rings will light up on the drums, but the sync button won't get the rings to do that spinning thing that it will with my standard controllers.

Hmm... Not sure what to suggest then I'm afraid. Trying holding both connect buttons at the same time?

I'm having the same exact problems as you man. I've tried everything I possibly can and my drums absolutly will not sync.
