When I looked at the 60's infinite setlist I was a little dissappointed. I only have 4 songs on mine. I've read the thread discussing the process of making songs for the game and understand it's not all that easy when it comes to this decade. But we need to fill this setlist up somehow. Obviously Hendrix is the most desired artist of this decade. The Beatles, Janice (comon I want some summertime and piece of my heart), The Doors, Clapton, Frank Zappa (if masters can't be used from zappa which I doubt, let dweezil do it) Crosby steels nash and young, Early Floyd, King Crimson, more Stones, more Creedance, Jefferson Airplane (Somebody to love, White Rabbit!). Alot of good songs from the Easy Rider soundtrack that I dunno who sings. My timeline could be off but I think bowie and fleetwood mac started in the 60's. anyway there's a ton of good 60's music, if masters can't be found/used how about either covering it for the game as in the past or possibly a better idea, approach bands you'd like to hear do covers of some of these songs. Just trying to help figure a way to get this music into the game.

I wholeheartedly agree. I would even take covers if that's the only way to get some of these tracks done.

Mine had 7 songs on it. Quite displeasing. Need a lot more 60's.

definitely, more 60's, more classic rock in general. My ideal would be...
25% Classic Rock
25% Metal
25% Punk
25% Alternative, Grunge, Emo, Pop, whatever else.

which sucks. Im totally fine with playing covers of songs from the 60's if there are no such thing as master tracks in existence for them.

Comon harmonix, don't jump on the bandwagon just b/c GH doesn't do covers anymore. I think most people would agree covers are fine if they sound half-way decent. For example, I kinda like incubus, but stellar on GH1 was a horrible cover, mainly b/c of the singer. The RATM cover on GH2 was pretty bad. While I do understand Janis would be hard to do a good cover of, doesn't mean there isn't someone out there who could pull it off. Jack White did a good cover of dolly parton's Jolene, I'd like to hear him take on Janis. So I guess what I'm saying is if you do decide to cover some 60's songs just make sure it does the original justice.
