Bloc Party?

I think it would be cool to have some Bloc Party songs for Rock Band. I dunno it might just be me but I just can't get enough of Bloc Party. What do you guys think?

I mean there are so many good songs to choose from:
Two More Years
This Modern Love
The Prayer
Positive Tension (I like this song a lot, however the lyrics are questionable, but the age limit for the game is for teens so I guess its fine)
Pioneers
Little Thoughts
Like Eating Glass
I Still Remember
Hunting For Witches
Helicopter
Banquet

All of these songs have good parts to play on the peripherals, I think it would be an excellent idea to include at least one of these songs for the downloadable content.

Does rock band even have any indie bands? If not it makes it an even better idea to have Bloc Party included because it covers a larger area of rock, ultimately pleasing more people. :D So add them!!!

I know they kick ass! Having their songs would be good for both us rockers and for harmonix. For us game wise and them money wise lol. But anyway great band, great music, a must for the DLC. :)

I love the guitar in Like Eating Glass, Positive Tension and Little Thoughts, would be awesome to try and play it, same goes to say about the drums... Ah, who am I kidding the drums are always KICK ASS!!!

For whatever reason, I think "Banquet" would be the most likely candidate. Remember, there is usually a bias towards a band's singles of their albums rather than their deeper cuts. The fact that "Helicopter" was in GH III and "The Prayer" was in PGR4 has helped increase their visibility, so there is a chance.

Sweet, didn't know helicopter was on GH III, taking that its on GH III I don't think it will come to Rock Band. If it does, awesome! I'd get it so fast. Not really sure about other songs Bloc Party have, I'd want to see the songs that I put out on the game plus some others.

Like Coldplayer said, I would honestly buy every single Bloc Party song made available for DLC! My hope is that they have Silent Alarm as an entrie downloadble album. That would be amazing!

I might buy The Prayer. I didn't like it at first but it's related to an achivement in PGR 4 so I had to turn it on for that and started liking it.

I would love to play two more years... i didn't think anyone on here really liked bloc party. Seeing them live was amazing.

Yea, Silent Alarm is Bloc Party's best album, I don't think there's one song on there I don't like and my favourite songs are on there too. The whole album as a DLC would be the best thing ever, would want to try playing Pioneers. :)

ok, I gotta BUMP this back up.

Currently Bloc Party is my fav band by far right now. There style is unlike any other of the bands in RB so far. So it would be a nice touch/change to include them for DLC, I would DL all of there songs but ones that would work the best IMO are..

Helicopter (already in GH3)
Banquet
Uniform (best track ever... i need this to be DLC)
Hunting for Witches

the songs probably wouldn't have a high difficulty to play (drums being the exception, Matt Tong kills the drums) BUT, all of the songs would be A LOT of fun to play.

yay! I would pay double for bloc party songs. I like the huntng for witches song off the second album and anything from silent alarm.

Either of their albums would be freakin' awesome, but if I had to narrow down a "Bloc Party Pack," I'd say that they'd probably choose:

By the way, I think Positive Tension or Song for Clay would be especially fun songs to play. :D

I saw Bloc Party live couple of months ago. It was the BEST show i've ever been to.

We need some Bloc Party right friggin now! Entire albums please! If i had to narrow it down, i'd have to go with:

I guess these songs would be moderately hard making for some good gameplay and the songs OWN, so that's good enough for me.

The last few seconds of helicopter on drums would make it worth buying it as DLC even though its already in GH3 lol
