Did anyones Gamestop.com Preorder not ship?

Is it just me or did anyone else preorder from gamestop.com not ship? Mine is still stuck on saying Pre-Release 11/20/2007.. and its pissing me off pretty bad... just wanted to know if its just me or not

Oh ok. Mine was 9/29, so maybe that has something to do with why mine shipped.

Mine is the same and I ordered it on Sept 1st. At first I thought it could be to do with it being an international order, but not so sure now. I emailed them about 12 hours ago, waiting for a reply, I'll let you know what they say.

I swear, if they lost my order, I'll go nuts.

Same here. It's an international order as well, though via Barnes & Noble. (They use Gamestop as their service partner.) I sure hope they ship it some time soon as it's going to take a while to reach Germany anyway. Fingers crossed.

Well that actually eases my mind a little that I'm not the only one. Maybe they just shipped out all the overnight shipping orders yesterday and were waiting on the release date to ship the rest.

I ordered from gamestop via B&N too because GS wouldnt accept my australia credit card. I just checked my order status on barnesandnobel.com and it says.. "Expected Ship Date: November 23, 2007"

I got an e-mail directly from gamestop to tell me the release date has been changed though, so I have no idea if it's been sent off yet or what.

Same here.. But I dunno I read something on how they dont take the money out until the order has been shipped.. and Im fearing that even though I preordered it and "thought" I paid for it then, that I dont have the money in my account now so they wont send it...

Got the same mail and yes, it also says 11/23 on the BN site. But since they aren't actually in charge and Gamespot HAS made the effort to let us know about the earlier release I'm expecting them to ship the bunch some time today.

Right, well my order just changed from the old 200 dollar price, to the new price, so I'm tentatively taking that as a good sign that they're getting ready to process my order. *fingers crossed* This has been the longest day ever.

No, I'm getting more and more frustrated, besides the price changing, nothing. from what people were saying though on other threads, gamestop can be slow to update the status on the webpage, so I'm hoping that it's already shipped today and it will be updated tomorrow. Nearly 18 hours since I emailed them. They usually get back to me fairly fast, so I'm hoping it's not a bad sign. Today is so freakin' long! lol. I think I'll actually be stuck sitting on the couch in stunned silence for about 3 days if the order doesn't go through.

Triple post. Status just changed to Back Ordered. I'm too depressed to be angry right now, but I'm getting there. I ordered the freakin' bundle on the 1st of September and people who ordered at the end of October got their copies shipped out yesterday.

Looks like I'm not getting Rock Band until next year. I've said a slightly irate email in response.

I managed to find a copy on eBay with the bargain Buy it Now price of $240 so I bought it. I know it sounds like I'm being sarcastic, but that was actually a bargain when you look at some of the other prices up there. So gamestop is going to end up costing me an extra 150 dollars or so to get the game. First time I ordered from 'em and certainly the last time.

yep looks like they basicly shipped to americans first since it was easier instead of doing it by date of pre order. Pretty shocking really. NotorietyH did you get a reply to any of your emails asking about this?

The first email I got when I asked said that international orders take longer to process, but nothing about them shipping last. I then sent an email when it was backordered asking what the hell had happened and didn't get a response for a couple of hours. Then I emailed to cancel the order altogether and funnily enough got a reply ten minutes later saying it had been cancelled, they didn't bother replying to my other email.

The first email said.

hey, at least they have confirmed something with your order! I pre-ordered mine from Amazon in September, and I was just informed it will be after the first of the year before I see anything. Really disturbing, since there are people who pre-ordered it barely a week ago and they got theirs already. And I am an American. I feel your pain, happened me the other day, and I pre-ordered on September 1st. So I went the eBay route. Now I'm nervous because my eBay seller said he'd email me when he posted Rock Band, and there's been no word from him yet.

Mine just cleared east midlands airport! Should be here tomorrow. Not bad considering it was picked up from EB Games at 9PM last night!. They are back in my good books at the moment. Now, let's see if I can do anything about cancelling the ebay order, or should I wait to see if the one from eb games works or not?

Yep, same here. I ordered my RB from Gamestop the end of October. My ship to and billing address were different because it was a gift for our whole family. I checked my order on Monday night and it showed up as canceled. I quickly called them and the guy said "let me get some one to try and figure this out". After waiting on hold, he told me that because the ship and bill address were different, and because my IP address did not match my email ( I use Yahoo) they just canceled the order. They said I should have received an email, which I didn't for sure. They did not seem to have a problem sending me their sales adds over email every week........ The guy told me I could order another one (but of course they were all gone), and I said not from you and hung up. We lucked out and found one at Walmart at 7:00 AM. Good buy Gamestop, you have lost a customer for ever and I hope others leave you as well!
