RB2 drums with old wired headset

Hello.

I attempted to use my new rockband 2 drums with my old rockband 1 line extender for the old wired headset. I hope that makes sense... anyways, I am not able to get it to work.

Can anyone confirm that this works, or if not, is there a way to get it to work?

I tested my mic with my GH3 guitar and my wireless controller and it works fine. I am not sure if it is the wireless drums or the little dongle extender.

Any thoughts?

Edit: Guess this has been a problem for a while. Anyone ever found a good fix?

I've had this problem as well, for both the RB1 drums and the RB2 drums. I haven't heard of a fix... but it's very annoying.
