I'd love to see the entire live setlists from And All That Could Have Been or Beside You In Time as DLC - that would be absolutely amazing!

I would love to play "Hurt" so much. One of the best songs ever.

I know there is almost no drums and almost no guitar, but I would'nt care, I'd still play it. Maybe they could change the piano part into guitar. But.. hmm.... they would need to rerecord it then...

Argh, I would play it anyway.

No, wait - they should use the version with David Bowie!! YES!!

I used to listen to NIN alot but in the past couple of years, not as much, so off the top of my head, I'm having a hard time thinking of songs that would be good for RB -- that is, ones that have strong guitar/bass/drum parts, and less synth/violin/sampled noise of somebody dying parts. I like the music, but I don't know how much of it would make a good translation to RB.

I think the rock songs off Broken would be great though, if hard on the vocalist's pipes. Wish, Gave Up, and Last.

Nothing on TDS strikes me as suitable for RB, too much synth/e-drumming, too little lead guitar or non-keyboard baseline.

From The Fragile, maybe No You Don't would be pretty good for RB, maybe Where Is Everybody (not sure what the instrument layout is exactly on that one). Starfudgers would probably work, although I was never particularly fond of that song for the album.

From With Teeth, Only would own in RB for bass, vox, and drums, but the guitar is mixed pretty low through much of the song, maybe thats not such a problem. Its nice that there is some NIN on one of these games finally as it is with The Hand that Feeds.

I just queued up Year Zero to refresh, maybe The Begining of the End would be good, the vox aren't very long, but they are sung at least, and the instrument parts are solid and easy to hear. The drums sound like fun. The rest of the album, not so good for RB.

Like I said, I'm a fan, but I don't think most of the NIN catalog would work well with RB, excepting some of the tracks I mentioned here.

But thats just my opinion.

The live versions (from the 2 live albums I mentioned) would translate very well. Just about every track is re-setup for bass/guitar/drums, with some of the samples and such left in. I think on AATCHB everything would work except for The Frail, and Something I Can Never Have.

A lot of the more "electronic/industrial" songs would be tough... That's why I mentioned Head Like a Hole, it's got a great guitar riff, great drums, and it's something the whole party can sing with you when you're playing. Anyone who was in High School during the 90's knows the lyrics to that song.

Other good NIN songs would be stuff off of Broken as mentioned, I think March of the Pigs would be good, a lot of people were saying that there weren't many songs that focus on bass, Piggy would fill that role rather well.

I would love some more NIN. Almost any song off of Broken and some of the songs mentioned earlier, as well as The Beginning of the End.

I can just imagine the crazy drum solo for The Perfect Drug...*_*

You might need to have a spare kit in case the first one breaks! :p

The songs that would probably be optimal for this game are We're In This Together(which incidentally is my favorite song of all time), March of the Pigs(drums would be so much fun), and the Perfect Drug(another great drums one). Beginning of the End would be a good one too.

Other possible ones but not so sure considering either the content of the song or synth in them, Mr. Self Destruct, No You Don't(actually this would probably be the best choice out of all of them, it's just not a popular song), and Only.

I've never been into NIN, but I enjoyed the song they have in Rock Band.

I was listening to a live version of We're In This Together and I was thinking that it would go great in RB. It can be pulled off with one bass, one guitar, drums and vocals - a few other background effects, but those are still the main staples of the song live.

Well, Some of Trents songs don't translate well to the game but some are perfect. I don't know if you could do a full album because of that but I would like to see some DLC packs.

Some of his songs have really pronounced drums. I also think his vocals would be fun. I was thinking last night which songs would be really fun to play and I came up with some.

The Collector (great drums)
Only (may have to fudge some guitar parts for synth parts)
Getting Smaller
The Good Soldier
No, You Don't
Just Like you Imagined(May work, no vox though)

I found With Teeth to be a better album for the game than Year Zero. It seems to have more pronounced guitar parts. You guys are the geniuses though.

If there's one band I want more of it's NIN.

yeah a full album would be difficult to do but track packs would be great

Personally, I'm pulling for some of the tracks off of Broken. They're the most "rock" based in the sense that every one should have something to play of note. The problem being, of course, that most of the songs on there aren't as recognizable to most people anymore compared to things off essentially almost every other NIN album.

As long as they avoid most of With Teeth, I'm happy.
